MARY VALLEY ARTSLINK INC.

Establishing a viable arts industry in the Mary Valley
is the backbone of Mary Valley Artslink’s vision for the region.

Since it started in 2013, its volunteers have secured funds, hosted professional workshops and networked artists both established and emerging to develop individual, community and group projects.

The organisation is a not-for-profit arts council and co-ordinates two major festivals held in the region, the Mary Valley Art Festival and the Mary Valley Scarecrow Festival.

MARTY VALLEY ART FESTIVAL

MARY VALLEY SCARECROW FESTIVAL

The Mary Valley Scarecrow Festival is an annual festival where the whole Mary Valley gets involved to create and display some wonderful scarecrows (Scarecrows by Anabranch Farm)

More about Heinke

BA Int Des; BA Fine Art & Culture; MA CDA Art & Des
Heinke is a qualified Interior Designer and holds a Master degree in Cross Disciplinary Art and Design. She has designed retail spaces and instigated product development with a profit driven focus in over 150 stores in Australia and New Zealand., Europe, UK and Hungary.
Heinke does Interior Design for private clients as well as Corporate Institutions.
She focuses on her practice as a Multi Media Artist and continues her research into Suppression of Cultures by Superior Oppressors. In the Mary Valley it is her goal to help local artists achieve their goals by facilitating outlets, workshops and curating exhibitions for their art work.

More about Agnès

Agnès (the A in a&b originals) was born and raised in the region of Brittany, in the west of France and migrated to Australia in 2005. She moved to the Sunshine Coast hinterland with her partner Bernard (the B!) at the beginning of 2019 and started her new venture after many years of working in corporate.
Agnès has always been crafty for as long as she can remember. After trying a range of creative mediums, she found her true calling in the form of felting and more particularly nuno felting which appeal to her love of colours and tactile sensations.

Kaili Parker-PriceMedia Liaison

Kaili has been a wordsmith all her life, and communication and connection are her passions for rural communities. Starting as a cadet journalist in Gympie she has worked professionally in the media print sector for more than 30 years, adding her voluntary help in the not-for-profit sector for the past 18 years. She will build a scarecrow but has not been known to take up a paintbrush, yet.
