Mary Valley Art Festival Winners
A Brooloo-based volunteer and a long-time supporter of the Mary Valley Art Festival were among the winners at the gala awards presentation in Imbil last month.
Glenwood artist Lisa Stamos was announced winner of the $1500 Bendigo Bank Open Award for her artwork “Emotion”. Lisa was one of the first entrants when the festival started 16 years ago, and won the festival committee’s encouragement award at the time. Highly commended in the Open was Tony Lewis with the lovely watercolour “Looking East”.
